, 28 DECEMBER 2012 HOME NEWS World 27 December 2012 UK renewables power forward , on track to 2020 target Significant progress has been made on the rollout of renewable energy across the UK from July 2011 to July 2012, according to the 2012 update to the Renewable Energy Roadmap published today by the Department of Energy and Climate Change DECC Over 10 percent of all electricity is coming from renewables , and Britain is on track to meet its target to source 15 percent of all energy from renewables by 2020.
